INHOUDSOPGAVE
Introduction
Internet Explorer 11 (IE11) is no longer actively supported by Microsoft. As a result, this browser is no longer available. Within Xpert Suite, there are still some administrator functionalities that only work within IE11. So what now?
Microsoft supports software that use IE components with the Internet Explorer(IE)-mode. This maintains the ability to work fully supported and secure with Xpert Suite. This mode is fully supported by Microsoft until the end of 2029, and for supported operating systems, Internet Explorer 11 will continue to receive security updates and technical support.
Note: You need to configure IE mode in Edge to do this. See What is Internet Explorer Mode? | Microsoft Docs.
Almost all Xpert Suite users won’t need IE mode. Only some specific functionalities for functional administrators still require IE mode.

What is Otherside at Work's policy?
All administrator components of Xpert Suite will become fully browser independent. In the past period, a large number of administrator components have already been transferred. And in each new release of Xpert Suite, more functionalities are made browser independent, see also the Release Notes. The goal is to transfer all administrator components as soon as possible.

Frequently Asked Questions
- Will classically built screens continue to work on the front end when the new management is active?
- Yes. An end date on which the classic screens can no longer be maintained or will no longer work has not yet been determined.
- When the new screen module becomes available, do we have to convert everything immediately? Or can this be done step by step, for example when changes are made?
- No, it can be done in phases. As mentioned in 1, there is no hard deadline yet.
- Will the new screen module be similar to questionnaire management? This will help us to prepare properly.
- Yes
- Is there a migration plan or tool to convert existing screens?
- We are investigating the possibilities for migrating old screens (in part) so that manually rebuilding screens is not necessary or can be greatly reduced. As soon as more information is available, we will share it with all XS Admins.
- When is the release of the new screen module (provisionally) planned?
- For now, February-March 2026.
- Will Otherside at Work provide capacity or support for this transition?
- It is up to the XS Admins to properly prepare and execute this transition. Otherside at Work will provide the XS Admins with step-by-step plans and instructional materials to support them as best as possible. Of course, our consultants are available to perform tasks, advise, and/or provide support.
